The City of Tucson Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) has completed the reviews and issued more than 64 commercial permits for Tenant Improvements and New construction projects from November 1-30, 2010. The total projected dollar valuation is more than $24 million that will benefit the Tucson economy.
Some of the recently permitted projects include:
• New In N Out Burger located at 4620 N Oracle Rd
• New Mercedes Benz Dealership located at 6350 E. Grant Rd
• Tenant Improvement of a Walgreens located at 525 W. Valencia Rd
• New City of Tucson Water facility Warehouse

As of February 2010, Planning and Development Services has been issuing monthly reports showing the total valuation of new construction and improvement projects being permitted in the City of Tucson. The total valuation since the inception of this monthly report has reached more than $163 million.
