League of Women Voters Planning Forum

The League of Women Voters of Greater Tucson is conducting a free workshop on Planning Forums on Saturday, June 25th, 9:00 to noon at the Sam Lena-South Tucson Branch Library at 1607 S. 6th Ave. (a couple blocks south of 22nd Street at the South Tucson government complex). Participants will learn how to produce a successful event if an organization wishes to sponsor a candidate or issue forum. The up-coming City of Tucson elections for mayor and council seats for Ward 1, 2 and 4 makes this topic relevant for all of us.Light refreshments will be served.  Please pre-register by Thursday, June 23; leave a message at 740-5779 to reserve a seat at the workshop.
