Sun Tran and the City of Tucson Transportation Department is holding an Open House Monday, 3/28, 5 to 6:30 PM at the El Pueblo Neighborhood Center, 101 W. Irvington, Room 5B.
This open house is to discuss the fare increase recommendation by the COT Transit Task Force. This was directed by action from the Mayor and Council in the Fall of 2010.
There will a brief powerpoint presentation by TDOT (with some history of fares, types of fares, where revenues go, etc.) followed by questions and answers. Sun Tran/Sun Van staff and TDOT staff will be available at each meeting. Comment cards will also be provided.
