*Update: Lane closures on Interstate 19*

The Arizona Department of Transportation will close all lanes on northbound
Interstate 19 between Tucson and south of Green Valley on Wednesday (Sept.
14) instead of one lane as previously scheduled for sign maintenance work.
The lane closures on Thursday (Sept. 15) for guardrail repair will remain
the same.
What to Expect:
Wednesday (Sept. 14)
- All northbound I-19 lanes at Valencia Road are scheduled to be closed
from 10 p.m. Wednesday (Sept. 14) to 5 a.m. Thursday (Sept. 15) for sign
maintenance work.
- Northbound I-19 traffic will exit at Valencia Road, detour west to
Calle Santa Cruz, north on Calle Santa Cruz to Irvington Road, east on
Irvington Road and back to I-19.
Thursday (Sept. 15)
- The left lane on northbound I-19 in Tucson will be closed from 10 p.m.
to 5 a.m. Friday (Sept. 16) for guardrail repairs.
The construction schedule is subject to change due to a variety of reasons,
including weather, material availability and mechanical difficulties.
Drivers are reminded to proceed through the work zone with caution, slow
down, and be alert for construction equipment and personnel.
