Labor Day Holiday Garbage and Recycling Schedule

The Labor Day Holiday will be observed on Monday, September 6, 2010.  Residential garbage, recycling, and brush and bulky will not be collected on Monday. City of Tucson residential and commercial customers will have their services delayed by one day. Holiday collection schedules are available online at www.tucsonaz.gov/esd .




The Los Reales Landfill will be open its regularly scheduled hours from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. For the week of September 6, 2010, the Household Hazardous Waste Program will be open to residents its regularly scheduled hours from 8 a.m. to 12 noon on Friday and Saturday.

City offices will be closed on Monday, September 6, 2010; however, customers may leave a message for Environmental Services at 791-3171 or submit a service request at www.tucsonaz.gov/esd and they will be contacted no later than the next business day.
