A new edition of the Sun Tran Ride Guide is now available, offering passengers detailed route and service changes effective February 13 through August 13, 2011.
Route changes featured in this edition of the Ride Guide:
- Weekday schedules have been adjusted on Route 6 to make the departure times at each timepoint more consistent, while weekend schedules have been adjusted to improve on-time performance.
- Routes 3, 8, 11, 27, 29, 37& 105X schedules have been adjusted to improve on-time performance.
- Weekday departure times from the Laos Transit Center have been adjusted on Route 50 to enable passengers to utilize an in-seat transfer to Route 27.
- While school is not in session during the summer, a small number of weekday trips have been removed on Routes 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 16, 17 & 23.
New Pass Sales Outlets have been established at all 7-Eleven® stores throughout the Tucson metropolitan area, where passengers can purchase full fare monthly bus passes. Reduced fare passengers can now purchase the Economy Monthly pass at the following locations:
El Pueblo Activity Center, located at 101 W. Irvington Rd.
El Rio Neighborhood Center, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd.
Northwest Neighborhood Center, 2160 N. 6th Ave.
The Sun Tran Ride Guide is now available online, on buses and at Sun Tran’s administrative office, located at 4220 South Park Avenue. The Ride Guide is also available at approximately 500 locations, such as public libraries, major malls and pass sales outlets throughout Tucson.
