SB1170, the Multimedia Production Incentives bill, has a new bill number. HB2127 is our new bill. It’s identical to SB1170 except it has a Department of Revenue (DOR) amendment. The amendment doesn’t change the intent of the bill.
HB2127 will be heard in the Senate Commerce Committee on Wednesday, March 14th at 9 AM. SB1170 has already successfully passed out of this Committee earlier this session by a vote of 4 – 2. It’s going back now as HB2127 with the amendment.
We’d like you to contact the following members of the Senate Commerce Committee who supported our bill earlier this session and ask for their continued support. Ask that they "please support the HB2127 strike everything amendment, identical to SB1170, and the DOR amendment that was offered in the House Commerce Committee."
The new bill number with amendment will be posted on the AZLEG.gov website on Monday.
