Event Description:

WHAT:  Solidarity Rally and Barbeque in Honor of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Hosted by the Pima Area Labor Federation, AFL-CIO.

WHO:  Working families, people of faith, civil and human rights activists, small business owners.

Open to the public: The public is invited to attend the rally and the free barbeque dinner.

Elwood McDowell, Reverend, Trinity Missionary Baptist Church

Route: East on Congress, South on Sixth Avenue on city sidewalks

5:15 PM – Barbeque at Armory Park

Visuals will include rally signs, march along city sidewalks, families sharing a meal, speeches by community leaders.
