"A" Mountain Easter Activities

Easter activities at Sentinel Peak Park ("A" Mountain) will impact
public use of the site from 1-6 p.m. on Friday, April 6 and again on
the morning of Easter Sunday, April 8.



The Good Friday Procession (La Procession de Viernes Santo) and Easter
Sunday Sunrise Services (La Misa al Amaneser) have been held for more
than 22 years.

Tucson Parks and Recreation staff will close the park to cars and
vehicular traffic at Noon on Friday, April 6. Gates will be closed to
the public at this time.

Friday's Procession will begin at approximately 5 p.m. and event
organizers will control vehicle access.

Public use of the park on Saturday will not be restricted.

Sunday's Easter Mass begins at 6 a.m. and event organizers will
control the flow of vehicles until the end of the services when gates
will reopen for general public use at approximately 10 a.m.
