August Permits Total $12 Million

The City of Tucson Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) has completed the reviews and issued more than 42 permits from August 1-31, 2010.  The total projected dollar valuation is more than $12 million that will benefit the Tucson economy.



 Some of the recently permitted projects include:

● Tenant Improvement of a Medical Office located at 7091 E. Speedway Blvd.

● New Office Administration building located at 3910 N. Sun Tran Blvd.

● Tenant Improvement of a Warehouse located at 1828 S. Research Loop

● New Photovoltaic Solar system located at  335 N. Wilmot Rd.

As of February 2010, Planning and Development Services has been issuing
monthly reports showing the total valuation of new construction and
improvement projects being permitted in the City of Tucson. The total
valuation since the inception of this monthly report has reached more
than $63.9 million.

This is a partial listing of commercial projects submitted and approved for permits. It does not include grading and signs or single trade permits issued for mechanical, plumbing, electrical, excavation, demolitions or any residential new home construction or remodels issued within the same time frame.
