City departments will be closed for nine days throughout FY 2011
Many City departments will be observing nine days of closure, or alternative methods of scheduling to meet the required 72 hours of unpaid furlough for all employees during Fiscal Year 2011.
Tucson Police, Tucson Fire, 911 fire/police dispatch services will remain open 7 days a week 24 hours a day. These operations as well as other designated City Departments will continue service by using alternate furlough schedules.
