SUN TRAN’S NEW FALL SCHEDULE NOW AVAILABLE

A new edition of the Sun Tran Ride Guide is now available online, offering passengers detailed route and service changes effective August 14, 2011 through February 11, 2012.

Route changes featured in this edition of the Ride Guide:
·        Adjustments have been made to Route 2 due to road improvement projects on Silverlake Road and 22nd Street.  A timepoint has been moved from 22nd Street at Cherrybell Avenue to Park Avenue at 22nd Street and the schedules have been adjusted for the new location.  When the road improvement project is complete on Silverlake Road, the routing for Route 2 will also change.  Once this routing change goes into effect, the Main Post Office will no longer be served.
·        Morning routing for Route 104X was adjusted and a timepoint added on Granada Avenue at Congress Street enabling passengers to utilize bus stops west of the Ronstadt Transit Center.
·        With funding provided by the Regional Transportation Authority, a small number of weekday trips have been added on Routes 1, 3, 5, 7, 8, 9, 16, 17 & 23 to accommodate seasonal demand with school back in session.
