Benefit for Veterans Day

(From the AP)

Anyone visiting the Grand Canyon on Veterans Day will save some money.

The Grand Canyon is joining other national parks around the country in waiving entry fees on Nov. 11.
While there will be no admission fee on that Thursday, fees still apply for camping, backcountry permits and other activities at the iconic canyon.

Visitors who plan to remain at the park after Nov. 11 will have to pay the regular admission fee for the remainder of their stay.
