City’s New Volunteer Service Program - Tucson City News

Since 2007, the City of Tucson’s workforce has been reduced by nearly 1,000 positions. To assist City departments with their stated missions and to continue providing the high quality of service citizens expect and deserve, the City is establishing a Volunteer Service Program.

The City Volunteer Service Program will commence with the creation of a Volunteer Information Center in the lobby of City Hall. To introduce the program to the public, the City will hold a kickoff event on Monday, February 14, at 2 p.m. in the City Hall Lobby, 255 W. Alameda St.
