US Airways Adds Flights, TIA Declared Winner by SouthwestAirlines, 2010 Year In Review

US Airways is adding two flights from Tucson to Phoenix Thursday through Sunday beginning March 6, 2011. The flights will depart TIA at 8:50 p.m. and 9:55 p.m. on board CRJ-900 aircraft, and will connect to flights bound for both the east and west coast. This will bring the total of US Airways nonstop flights to Phoenix to 12.

There are eight airlines providing nonstop service to 16 destinations from Tucson International Airport. Airlines and service include: Alaska (Seattle); American (Chicago O'Hare, Dallas/Ft. Worth); Continental (Houston); Delta (Atlanta, Minneapolis, Salt Lake City); Frontier (Denver, Milwaukee); Southwest (Albuquerque, Chicago Midway, Denver, Las Vegas, Los Angeles, San Diego); and United (Denver, Los Angeles, San Francisco).
